CO-CREATING REGENERATIVE PROJECTS WITH SIMPLICITY & SERENITY,
BRINGING A DIFFERENT KIND OF LUXURY.

KAT’S VISION

My vision is to collaborate with kindred individuals to create regenerative projects that prioritise the well-being of people and the planet, crafting spaces and products that embody simplicity, serenity, and beauty, merging well-being, nature, and sustainable design.

Through partnerships with artisans and a dedication to regenerative principles, the aim is to foster harmonious atmospheres that connect people with nature and go beyond form and function.

SPACES

Our approach lies in the meticulous curation of spaces, weaving together elements of architecture, interiors, and the natural surroundings, with a deep respect for nature and craftsmanship.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

Our process includes extensive collaboration and knowledge-sharing with local and international artisans and professionals, ensuring each project embodies a sense of authenticity, quality and artistry.

SENSES

We prioritise the emotive qualities of the textures and natural elements to enrich atmospheres, focusing on creating meaningful sensory experiences that go beyond mere aesthetics.

BEING

Our commitment to intentional design fosters spaces that not only look beautiful but also promote wellbeing and serenity, inviting individuals to pause, breathe, and engage with their surroundings.

ABOUT KAT

Kat Dumez is an interior architect, creative director, business owner and mentor.

Originally from Belgium, she has spent most of her professional life between Mexico and Copenhagen.

In 2008 she co-founded the interior design studio Casona in southern Mexico, which has grown into a highly successful company under her supervision as Creative Director.

After years of focusing on Casona’s growth, Kat sensed a deep desire of returning to her passion of simplicity and creating with a bigger purpose. At the same time she recognized the growing need and demand worldwide for more regenerative projects with minimum ecological footprint and atmospheres where people can reconnect and co-exist with nature.

This lead to the co-creation of Peaceful Places, a collection of carefully designed places integrating architecture, interior design, art and permaculture with business intelligence & ethics.
